Nurseries anywhere in the UK can work with The Children’s Traffic Club!
Nursery/playgroups/school teachers have a crucial part to play in young children’s lives. The design of the Club resources is such that they can be dipped into and out of and fit nicely into the structure of lessons centered around road safety. The stories, songs and games can all be enjoyed in nursery on a one-to one basis in the computer corner, or can be used in group or class situations on an interactive whiteboard.
Everything is included to teach vital lifesaving road safety messages, while having fun!

In several areas of the UK, funding for the club comes from local government, entitling all 3-4 year olds in the area to free membership. In these areas it is often the partnership with Health Authorities who make it possible by mailing out to all parents and carers with 3 year old children, in their area. The labelling and mailing of the invitations is carried out by the PCTs, using ‘invitation’ packs supplied by The Children’s Traffic Club. This method safeguards the privacy of children and families as nobody, outside the Health Authority, gets access to their details.
With such well respected resources, now extensively re-developed into a new digital format, never has teaching pre-schoolers vital road safety messages been simpler or more ‘fun’ and ‘interactive’!
